Evaluation of Effectiveness of COPD Monitoring

At HealthDiary, we have a long history with COPD trials and symptom monitoring. One of our first trials involved investigating effectiveness of fax and smartphone diaries or electronic patient reported outcomes (ePRO) in monitoring patient symptoms and detecting COPD exacerbations. The patient diary proved effective at gathering symptom information from patients as is demonstrated by high diary compliance of 99%.
